Our first exhibition in Canberra, ACT turned out to be a great
experience, more pleasant than we actually thought. Both Jay and I (Harshita)
worked tirelessly for a month to make this event a success. While he worked on
the art pieces, I focused on planning, strategy, procurement, and
communications.
We were working backwards and had a set number of paintings in mind for
the exhibition. Although JaxJay had a couple of music events lined up before
the exhibition, he ensured he worked late nights to complete the number of
paintings he had committed to.
We tried our best to provide a variety to all visitors in terms of
mediums and sizes. We offered resin, texture, acrylic, oil, metallics, glitter,
pencil, and more.
While the Krishna portrait
remained everyone’s favourite, the koi fish resin art caught everyone’s
attention. JaxJay’s attention to detail and his mastery of the subjects make
his art remarkable and exclusive.
The paintings were liked by visitors and friends, and we were able to
secure some great deals too. Next, we aim to present our artwork at the
Belconnen Arts Centre from 31 August to 13 October 2024.
With our learnings from this exhibition, we are aiming to venture into
digital art to provide an affordable range of products for a wide array of
buyers.
